When i click the "micro sd to usb" device i use to transfer games to my dsi, the file explorer just crashes and then the task bar dissapears, and when i put the micro sd back in to my dsi it doesnt work

format it probably, depending on the size you can just do it with the normal windows format tool, or if it's over 32gb you use guiformat

if it doesn't want to format then the card (or reader) could have died
but that sd card has all my games

you could try one of the many file recovery programs that exist, but that's one of the shadiest kind of internet searches you can do nowadays and basically every result is a virus
but if the dsi won't boot with the card then it doesn't seem like it's readable, what brand is it?

If the issue is with the SD Card partition, you can try fixing it with testdisk software, but be careful because if it is fixable and if you do something wrong you'll ruin it.

i'd rather not use it since idk the source of the issue

Whhhyyyy? Don't do that. Use 90%+ isopropyl. And if this card is some kind of counterfeit, or a random cheapo, that may explain the corruption. Age will also do it. Reverse whatever driver you set up, and use h2testw to actually test the card.

You're probably gonna have to kiss your games goodbye, unfortunately. When a card becomes corrupted, you have to format it. That's not even guaranteed to prevent future corruption, either. Likely best to just get a new one, and avoid future loss.

Ugh, get a cheap 64GB SD Card.
Mercado Libre has them cheap and from official stores.
Don't forget to ask for your voucher if you want warranty.
