I find it hilarious that OP went nearly two weeks before simply purging and updating their uBlock Origin lists to prevent the pop-ups.

Well, I didn't mind the pop ups, but when the "final boss" finally showed up, there was no avoiding it, I had to get rid of the pop up itself.

YouTube's attempt to get me to allow ads showed up again, but after going through uBlock's purge all cache and update all it's working again.

And I just wanted to watch this again

i think some video's do that ad's BS... i just click the X on the right of the ad to disable it.... it's a pain but some BS we have to deal with it.

I don't have this problem on my Notebook. I am using "Ublock Origin", "Disconnect", "idon'tcareaboutcookies" ad-on combination.

I think I have found a better way to circumvent this after finding something on everyone's favorite website, X. Want for me to share it? Am I?

i think some video's do that ad's BS... i just click the X on the right of the ad to disable it.... it's a pain but some BS we have to deal with it.

Sounds like the early stages of YT pop up block which eventually will threaten you to be unable to watch or disable the adblocker. I'd just get unlock Origin to work properly again.

Oh, so we're getting a spin-off/ GT2 now? I don't mind the franchise branching off, actually i'd like to see a continuation of GT, but i know that's never gonna happen.. Anyway, i like the animation here, much better than in Super, given the anime itself will maintain the same (or atleast close) visual quality.

I want to see more of grown up Goten and Trunks, and their potential, but i don't think that's gonna happen here, atleast not initially. as i think it'll be more of a "what if" kinda story, the scenario of Goku & Vegeta growing up together, and i see some characters from the OG DB (like Karin), so it might be a re-telling of the story than redoing GT..

I whitelisted YouTube in my actual adblocker (uBlock Origin), but the ads that show up are virtually skipped. You see them appear and they're gone just as fast.

uBlock Origin with purge cache and update, then it should work fine again. Does for me.

Also, if you've got YT Enhanced enabled, disable it for now. That's what's making it malfunction (for me it did).

Looks like i was way off. Somehow someone made a wish to turn all the known characters into kids, and to take away their powers, that's why we see Goku using the nimbus and the power pole. Now what we don't know for sure is when did this happen in the timeline, some say after the Buu arc, and i think so too as it's unlikely that it's after (or during) Super. yes, even if it's not a continuation of the series i think it's important to know when.

And just in case the algorithm gets smarter I installed FreeTube.

By the way, they are only just starting. I got a mail from them telling me that starting November 2023 content creators won't have any say in which kinds of ads Youtube rolls unless they demonetize a video completely. This is getting out of hand and even as a content creator I'm ashamed. I already demonetized almost all of my old videos and for some of the newer ones I decided that text ads are more than enough, all of this so that my viewers aren't harassed as much by ads pre-roll or mid-roll ads. Now they are taking that decision away from me and I honestly contemplate leaving the site altogether and focusing on software development rather than video creation.

Basically they are saying "You are too dumb to make profitable decisions, so we'll do it for you." They just use less insulting words for that.
