It is safe , it is just to reset the chip, but im not sure if your glitching time would be any better. I would leave it alone if it glitch 100% of the time.

I got an unpatched switch and wanted to try getting into HB with help of a guide. Seems there are two major ones iv'e seen: NH Switch Guide and Homebrew Guide. I wanted advice for which one to follow, and general pro/con of each. I made a crude summary table doc for comparison. Thanks!
Also, since this is a 2nd, prev used switch with a factory reset, do the risks of banning still exist if emuNAND is connected online? I assume so.

My Switch battery drained out and I cannot turn it on anymore. Previously I used TegraRcmGUI and hekate_ctcaer_X.X.X.bin to turn it on when this happened but this time I'm not sure which hekate_crcaer_X.X.X.bin file version I used the last time I updated the CFW, is that important? Should I always wake it up with the same hekate_crcaer file version or it can be any?
Anyway, I managed to turn it on and boot into Hekate but on launch it gives me error.

Hi folks does anyone have a solution for this random problem I have with Edizon?In the config I have the save toggled cheats on reboot options on and it worked fine but now out of nowhere the set cheats refuse to start with any new boot but resume to working again the moment I just open Edizon in the overlay and show up as toggled.Any solution? thanks.
Alright next we're gonna try something a little different. Have you ever heard of Maintenance Mode? Its fine if you haven't. What you're going to do is turn off your console if it isn't powered down already. Then you're going to turn it on but as you're turning it on, you're going to hold down the volume + and - buttons. If successfully executed, you will enter Maintenance Mode. From here, there is nothing else you need to do. Simply exit or turn the console off then try launching or installing the games again.@Draxzelex
grabbed tinwoo and NS-USB and......installs gave exactly the same errors as my initial post
'the software has closed due to an error' with the 2x DLC files, and the combined XCI tries to get internet connection and then just goes to 'internet settings or cancel' screen.
Do you have any more ideas I could try?
Hekate uses an update.bin file whenever you push a newer version of Hekate so ultimately, it doesn't matter what version of Hekate you send as a payload. Anyways, what is the error message you see?

Just wait for update, people jump the gun and update when firmware just came out yesterday.
I never update my Emummc, only when i have to do it , i only update the sysmmc , its the first time that i cant enter on my OFW when i update it.
Wait for new hekate version, resetting your chip to enter OFW isn't worth it, so skip that.
sup boys is there any hb os sys module to turn off and on atmo usb 3.0 support even if it will requaire restart

The trick for me was to go into the settings and crank up the Wiimote sensitivity to the max and it gets twitchy but you can win that way lol
