I totally stole AncientBoi's copypasta-like welcome message and used it now as my main greeting. I love to kinda tweak it up a bit to add tongue-and-cheek jokes relating to piracy and GBAtemp shitposting.

Prices here are FLICKED. We can't afford them, so now I'm thinking of starting using snails ;)
The French get away with it, & I did try it once before. They never had much flavor & texture was like whole champignons (slimy) from a can :)
They tasted nice (to me), but my wife refused to kiss me for over a week ;)

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
