What gameplay mods are you trying to use, because I've yet to find any mod for any game that would work on Ryujinx and not Yuzu (not saying they don't exists, just never see one). maybe i can help you get it working in Yuzu.
one of the very few gameplay balance/altering (maybe the only one) mods and it's Atmosphere-based so it doesn't play nicely with Yuzu but plugs right in to Ryujinx. I noticed Yuzu had a similar "atmosphere" directory under sdmc but messing around with that or just trying to use it as a regular mod just results in infinite loading screen at startup, can't link it but it's the Ultimate XC3 Rebalance mod on GameBanana

if it's at Atmosphere mod, is it a .pchtxt file?

Atmosphere mods (at least .pchtxt file mods) in yuzu are installed by right clicking the game in Yuzu, and selecting "open mod data location".
in that folder, create a subfolder named whatever the mod is, the another subfolder in that named "exefs", the the .pchtxt file should be named "2.0.0.pchtxt". So for example the 60 FPS mod for Future Redeemed would have this folder structure:
[where Yuzu takes you for that game's mod folder]\60FPS FR\exefs\2.0.0.pchtxt.

*edit- Yea, installed pretty easy, checked that Shieldrender was replaced by Clinical Mentality on Tactician Class to see if it applied.

*edit 2-
-Unzip the attached .7z file directly into the Yuzu mod folder for the game.
-Restart Yuzu.
-Right click on the game, and select "Properties".
-On the resulting dialog, make sure "File Loader" and ONE (and only one) of the 2 "Rebalance" mods are checked.

"Rebalance Normal" = the "Normal Mode" rebalance mod.
"Rebalance Chaos" = the "Bringer of Chaos" rebalance mod.

I did not include the custom NG+ save file included with the mod.

dude, thanks so much this worked perfectly. I had asked on the Discord about it and the general impression I got was that some Atmosphere mods could work with Yuzu and some couldn't, and just assumed it was the latter since it had to go through the mod loader. I could have sworn I tried setting them up in the regular Mods folder just like that though...for future reference, did you end up having to go into the .pchtxt and edit anything?

Maybe I had only split up the loader from the actual mod for my Ryujinx setup, idk. I know I had tried putting the .bdat folder from the mod into the romfs folder of the loader like it said to do on the original page for the loader where they had the "fake" file that said "put files here" so maybe I forgot to try them separately in Yuzu.

anyways thanks again, now hopefully I won't have the awful freeze frames every time I pull a new enemy or view a cutscene for the first time

I only quickly looked through the files, but I don't think there actually is a .pchtxt file for any of those.

First, I found the mod on gamebanana, then I read the description, and saw the file loader was needed as well, and I grabbed that too.

Then I opened the game's mod folder through Yuzu, and made a folder for each of the 3 mods (loader, plus both versions of the rebalance).

I opened the mod archives, and navigated through the folder structure until I found the exefs and romfs folders for the mods, and dropped those into the folders I made in the mod directory.

And then I restarted Yuzu, and checked if they showed up on the properties page, and tested if they were working (I was quite happy to find the change to Tactician, as it made checking if it worked take seconds).

That's it. Didn't alter a single file, just made sure the folder structure was correct for Yuzu.

Maybe when you tried Yuzu before, you forgot the File Loader, or only copied one of the folders for it (exefs and romfs) instead of both? Or you had the folder structure wrong keeping it from properly loading?

...I didn't see anything about that when checking things, so never did that step...

*edit-
After installing the mod, you can place your custom files in the /atmosphere/contents/010074f013262000/romfs/ folder.
I think you misunderstood this line, and that's not the proper folder structure for Yuzu mods.

yeah I ended up doing that for Ryujinx (i.e. pretty much disregarding anything involving the Atmosphere bit of the file path) and must have forgotten to try it with Yuzu with all the switching back and forth I was doing. Plus yeah, the "place custom files in romfs" led me to think that the Balance mods had to be contained within the File Loader's romfs path. But thanks for clearing that up, now I just have to figure out (in Yuzu, most recent EA build) why I'm getting vertex explosions (leading to a total crash to desktop mid boss-fight) and cutscene choppiness.

For now I just cleared out my shader cache completely and haven't had the vertex explosions since though it obviously didn't help with the cutscene issue.

Hi everyone! In one moment shaders load time increased from 3 min to 25-30 min. It's normal or somehow this problem can be fixed?

60 FPS breaks cutscenes. You get a black screen and the game freezes as soon as one starts.

Also note that the main game and Future Redeemed need different 60 FPS mods.

Can someone please share the cheats for Future redeem? The page with all the cheats for some reason is not working for me. It keeps auto refreshing.

Use Firefox or Edge, Chrome won't work on that page until google safe browsing finally removes the "dangerous" flag on the site.

I may be dumb, but I don't understand how the previously posted cheats for disabling BGM/Menu music work.

[Disable Chain Attack BGM]
04090000 00D68844 D503201F

[Disable Pause Menu BGM]
04090000 00D69BA8 D503201F

[Disable Rest Spot BGM]
04090000 00D13318 D503201F

This, placed on \user\load\010074F013262000\Disable BGM Menu Music\exefs is not working at all.
These codes don't have the same structure of any other yuzu mod I've currently have, so I may be missing something.
What is it? What else is needed to be done?

Oh, by the way, I'm on 2.0.0 update, trying to start Future Redeemed and I've run sick of the menu music after my 120h run of base game to even tolerate a minute more of it on the DLC...

Those are cheats, not mods.

They go in the mod folder as well, but [Disable Pause Menu BGM] would go in:
/Disable Pause Menu BGM/cheats/8E18600222CE90C2.txt (the name for the txt file is game version-specific, so cheats will stop working after an update... which is a good thing given the cheats would need different code for the updated version. This also means you can have the same cheat for multiple updates in the same folder, as the emulator will only use the one with the correct name)
and 8E18600222CE90C2.txt would be formatted like this:
Code:
[Disable Pause Menu BGM]
04090000 00D69BA8 D503201F
One cheat code per folder/file, and they're toggled in the game properties just like mods are.

I know that 60FPS FR is DLC-only mode. However, it seems that 60FPS is applied to the main episode, too... Was I mistaken?

60 FPS Gameplay + 30 FPS Cutscene v2.0.0 <- I know this is a mod for main episode.

My understanding is the 60FPS FR mod only gives 60 FPS in Future Redeemed, and won't give you 60 FPS in the main game.

In general though, you want to turn off any mods you're not actively using. So while playing the main game, do not have the 60FPS FR mod active. Having a mod active that shouldn't be can cause bugs.

Just one more thing,

Is there a way to get rid of slow motion? Sometimes the characters slow down when the frame goes down a lot.
