The whole deal with the mRNA vaccines was that it wouldn't inject the virus itself. That being said, there are also vaccines that do just that.
Tbf most vaccines have additives with a weakened state of the virus.

I'd prefer the whole enchilada, and would pay out of pocket. I have a vacation coming up.

Yep, it really seems to vary a lot depending on the person. First shot I got hit me like a truck and I had aches/troubles breathing properly for about 3 weeks. Second one didn't really affect me much at all.

I'm not intending to take any more shots though as the risk/reward doesn't seem worth it for me personally.
I think I will fill up now after this... As it was I were 2 times close to the ER if the fever didn't go down. But it did.

I think that's fair enough. Everyone should make the choice they think is best for them

You are coming off as the kind of person who is just going to blame anything on it.

well im sorry you have that impression, you are coming off as the type of person who isnt listen to what anyone says about it if you dont morally agree with it.

implying you have any moral high ground to stand on with any sort of antivaxxing opinion

That was stated due to the reply I recieved being them showing a moral high ground. I don't really care what peoples opinions are. I just don't care for people who constantly say that one opinion is wrong.

My parents who got vaxxed as soon as it was available now regret taking it because it made them sick and weak, but I remember my dad tried hard to convince me to get the shot by saying "If you don't get it then you won't be allowed to enter stores or fly." that was pretty creepy and disgusting.

Despite that, I hope they recover their health, obviously.

They tried to segregate and divide people based on a medical injection and that didn't turn out well.

no one in my immediate family including me has been vaccinated, not even my grandma, except for a few aunts and uncles. however, the topic was not discussed much and we had no disputes about it, everyone just accepted the decisions made. all my friends have been vaccinated, this did not lead to any arguments either. alsmost nobody of us had covid, the one who did, did not have hard symptoms no matter if vaccinated or not. also vaccinated ones did not suffer any side effects. so win win situation for everyone?

I wonder how many people stop taking medicine altogether, because they have or might get side effects.
The entire antivax movement has had a pretty large boost from this COVID19 vaccine media/political circus, so more and mord people will be fighting against any kind of innoculation.

I doubt all that many people will stop taking pills, though. There is medication out there that list "death" as a known side effect, and it hasn't stopped anyone yet.

easy to just "let it go" instead of admitting ignorance if you pushed extremely experimental and now known harmful injections on people.

Had pretty much the same experience. People telling me I'm going to kill my nan If I don't get it lmao. Saying I can't fly and shit like that, pretty much everywhere has reopened. Novak was discriminated against ridiculously and he's just set the all-time grandslam record, glad he didn't cave over a disease with a 0.06% death rate.

Got the first 2, never getting another. It was protection until omicron came along and made it less bad at least
