Convert boot.dat to fusee

Hi! I haven't done this in a while to update the boot.dat for the newest atmophere and the site I used to use isn't working anymore. I found some topics on here that involved using Python and something else. I looked into it.. downloaded python.. Can't figure it out. Is there any other way??

EDIT: Sorry should have said convert fusee to a boot.dat file! MY bad. Just frustrated right now.

There’s another way to do this. You create a boot.dat that looks for a specific payload name and then any payload you rename to that special name will be chainloaded. This means yiu will never have to build another boot.dat again.

Site is down for me right now so here goes:

1) Download SX Gear
2) Unzip it at the top level of your SDCard. (It has a custom boot.dat that contains nothing but a pointer to the next file)
3) Rename hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin (or any payload you’d like) to /payload.bin
4) Enjoy!

e: next time there is an update…just rename the new Hekate (or whatever) to /payload.bin and you’re done!

thank you very much.. just tried it and worked perfectly. I just renamed old-original SX boot.dat to boot-bkp.dat just in case.

of course it works ! It was designed for !
you can also convert your payload.bin to boot.dat (with a dongle, it doesn't check any signature...not like with an SX chip)
