What exactly does Pair My DS3 app do? https://oscwii.org/library/app/PairMyDS3

It says it enables wireless use of a ps3 controller. I have an original ps3 controller (not a third party one). Did all the steps. It said "your ps3 controller was successfully connected" or something like that, but nothing happens.

It never worked wirelessly and still doesn't.

All DS3's require the Bluetooth Mac address to be programmed into the DS3

Enables the Bluetooth Mac address to be programmed into the DS3
I get it, I mean what's the point if it doesn't work. I mean I have a snes9xgx version with libsixaxis support and my ps3 controller works fine with it, when plugged that is, after I ran pair my ds3 nothing changed. It only works when connected to the USB port in snes9xgx. Same story with retroarch wii

It's not voodoo magic, it won't suddenly work just by pairing it. You need to code support for the library in each app that you want it to be used.
