Go down a while near the forgotten fountain, fight an annoying wave of 4 enemy groups, then fight a big zonai boss? No saving in between is annoying and I don’t wanna repeat this again if it’s not how to reach ganon anyway?

None, go to the caves right below the tower, position yourself right below the tower room and use ASCEND ability
