Hi there!

I have a new Switch Lite that has only been booted once, and I'm planning to install a hwfly mod chip on it. After the mod chip has been installed, I'm wondering which guide I should follow to set up both a sysnand and emunand (cfw) safely. My plan is to avoid getting banned, as I want to play my legally obtained games online on the sysnand.

Just to give you some context, I also have a day one Switch that I started with SXOS, which is now running atmosphere. However, it got banned a long time ago. I'm hoping that the methods to avoid being banned have improved over the past 4-5 years, but I'm not entirely sure.

Once Chip is installed
boot hekate
Nand + boot + keys backup (then backup the backups somewhere safe)
Create emunand in hekate
Blank prod info for emunand + No net connection

So stock - boots normal + online
emunand - cfw + no online

Great, thanks! This was something I was looking for!
Do you know if there are any handy guides that covers all this or do I have to look it up individually?

You will need a guide for the chip install if you are doing it yourself but then for the software side either re-entry or this one. (ignore the rcm stuff)
