Modern social media frowns upon naughty words because advertisers find them yucky. Up until recently you could sidestep the wordfilters by posting a screenshot of the no-no words, but nowadays text recognition scans and removes pictures with suspected swearwords too, so a lot of pics circulating around the more popular sites are censored to avoid this.
