Is someone working for a softmod for Nintendo switch Oled? This will be great because well... WHO WANTS TO PAY 50€ FOR A GAME???. The hardware is the same as the unpatched switch v1. If no one is working for an hack please hurry up!
Thanks (sorry for my bad English I'm Italian!)

There are many threads on this topic. Please review one of them for the multitude of reasons this won‘t be happening any time soon.

1) This kind of stuff takes time. They have to find a vulnerability to exploit. Then they have to get the exploit up and running, and then they’ll likely hold on to it until it’s patched. So, you may be waiting a while.

2) If you’re that pressed for a mod, pay for a mod chip.

3) You’re not entitled to a damn thing.

Never say never, but the chances of a software based exploit are very low at best. To compromise security, you need kernel access, which unfortunately while the switch has some entry points, that's all they are, entry points. Actual Kernel level access is nonexistent without either RCM or a modchip.

Curious, why even buy the console in the first place if you’re not happy/willing to spend the systems current game prices ?

We all love piracy here as much as the next person..but $50-70 really isn’t that bad imo especially considering we usually get HOURS of enjoyment from a single title. Compared to movies or tv

No.
As far as we know, there are no vulnerabilities. People have given up looking for them. It's not as simple as "hurrying up". The hardware is not the same. OLED uses the Tegra X1+ SoC, which is the same as the V2 Switch and Switch Lite, and different from the X1 in the V1 Switch. That completely patched the RCM exploit we were using, there is almost zero chance RCM can ever be exploited again. There are also many smaller hardware changes in the OLED.
If there is a softmod in the future, it will likely only work on old firmware. That may exclude the Switch OLED.
A proper softmod that works on any FW may never happen, and even if it happens it might take until long after the release of the Switch 2 (or whatever Nintendo decide to call their next gen console). I believe it will happen, time has shown that everything gets hacked eventually, but I believe it will take a long time as there are no indications of exploitable bugs in newer firmwares, and people have looked thoroughly.

Dude, maybe tomorrow or maybe in two years, but make sure they will release a softmod for the switch. Don't doubt on that. Just don't update your system ;)

you can understand why devs leave the scene when people expect exploits to appear from thin air, regardless of OP's lack of english telling people to hurry up is the right way to piss people off as well as rude.
