Alright, so I've tried to connect my (used) Nintendo DS Lite to the Internet several times through several games and apps, and it does a connection test, the little connection icon in the bottom corner goes green for a bit, then it goes red and says it couldn't find the IP address.
I've tried on literally more than 20 different connections in different places and all of them turn out the same.
It's only been able to connect to ONE, and that one required an account to connect.
Help would be appreciated. :)

It's been a long time but I believe it has to connect to a WEP connection and doesn't work on WPA. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

But how can i tell if it's a WEP connection?
If you didn't intentionally use WEP, you probably aren't. It's a deprecated and insecure security standard, and many routers may not even support it as a security setting anymore. Most will default to WPA2 Personal.

Does DS support WPA/WPA2 or only WEP?

Does that mean i just can't connect then?
Is there another way?

WOW the DS/DS Lite is really pathetic compared to the other handhelds' support lol
WPA authentication came out around 2003 and the DS was released in 2004.
