Should I get the switch or switch lite

So I plan on getting a switch and playing it during the bus ride and just when I have time during the day but I’m not sure on which one I should get. My brother said he would sell me his switch lite for $50 and I thought that was a really good deal but I’m not sure if I want the switch lite or the normal switch. So if someone could give me advice on which one I should get I would appreciate it.

The main downside to the Switch light is the lack of detachable joycons and you cannot dock the system. Other than that it is a normal switch. You would lose out on games that use motion controls since you dont have detachable joy-cons. Though you can if you want buy a separate pair.

If you play handheld mode then just the switch lite, if you want to dock it get the regular switch or OLED.

Yea I think I’m just gonna get it becuase I probably would not play it very much in docked mode

If you want more customization options with your switch then go with the regular V2 one or the OLED. You get to have different aftermarket joy-cons with better joysticks and overall feel, as well as you get much better OLED screen, if you choose one. I would rather go with Steam Deck at this time being or wait for an upgraded Switch to arrive, which is expected to happen in 1.5 years.

The only thing bad for lite is speaker to low, no vibrate, no joycon so cannot do lazy mode lol, but for lite is the most comfortable switch and nice mushy button like proper button,

In most cases, a Switch is just better to have than the Lite because it offers everything the Lite has but more features that you cannot add. However, $50 even for a Lite is certainly a steal and even if you don't plan on using it, you can resell it for profit.
