My ARK installation was like so:
- removed any cfw with chronoswitch and installed 6.60 ofw (you can use 6.61 as well)
- copied ARK and infinity in their respective folders to sd card
- started OFW and installed infinity
- after restart started ARK Live
- after restart started infinity again and selected ARK as default
Thats it

My ARK update looks like this:
- copying new ARK on sd card
- start OFW and run ARK Live
Thats it ;)

well, I can't help there. you'd have to acid snake.

same for me. my cfw installation was messed up, so I got rid of it with chrono switch, then did everything in ofw. now, it no longer has issues. seems the same with that ps5sdk. my cmake install was corrupted, so I removed it and started fresh. I had to install it manually, since the latest cmake for ubuntu 20.04 seems to be 3.16, when you need 3.20 or higher.

then it will be easy to get everything back, just run the installer, then infinity to make sure it installed correctly. I think that's the process though as I've only done it once. do the same for all cfw you want installed.

I guess I'll reinstall ARK-4 that way.

if you're having problems, create an issue on his github. he'll get an email about it. don't expect it to be fixed right away. he told me he's been too busy, but he'll get back to it.

doubtful. try another cfw to see if you have the same issues. test it over the span of several days.

I'm thinking in switching to Ark-4 since it's the only cfw that gets updates these days. However, there's a thing that puts me off: the blinking select menu. I'm PRO and ME, when you press Select the menu appears and stays, while in Ark it seems glitchy. Will this issue be adressed in the future?

Hello guys, it's been a while since any news about ARK, but that changes today.
After lots of hard work, fellow developer meetpatty has been able to port a cIPL installer for ARK.
For those who don't know, cIPL is a custom bootloader hack that allows permanent CFW. It's main advantage with infinity is that it boots much faster, however it only works with pandora compatible models (1K and early 2K).

This is a pre-release version, testers have reported it to be safe but it is advise that you have a pandora battery at hand just in case something goes wrong.
Once enough people have reported and any bugs have been ironed out, we will make a proper release.
The beta package can be found here:

PS Vita's/PS TV's standalone ARK-4 often crashes in the "#ChovySign" part with a C1-2858-3 error message after running it, and when it doesn't, it often crashes when running PSP ISOs with a C1-2858-3 error message.

I'm on HENkaku 3.60.
