Now, if any of you browse the 3DS forums or USN you'll know im not one to complain about Nintendo, but this shit they pull really got to me. Okay so I went to the KI tournament right? I GET THERE 1 fucking minute before they take down the demo stands, so that means I get the grand total of having 7 fucking minutes to learn how to play the game and get used to controls (which are VERY SSBB style, you know like when your in the heat of a battle most of the time your going to pull of these moves by mistake unless your pro, I loved them :3) and on top of that im left handed. Now that wasnt so bad, in fact my insane semi-ADD and ADSF style of playing multiplayer games actually made me come out on top in the practice round, but weapon selection was a bitch. I had 6 minutes to try out 14 weapons (about 1 or 2 in each category) so I didnt even bother with cannons, arms or clubs. (Im not one for heavy weapons in shooters) I liked the staves, they seem good for stages like the grass field level and stuff, but like pretty much EVERYONE ELSE WHO PLAYED, I went with the beam claws (I mean its stupidly fast and its got long ranged rapid which most claws are supposed to lack, along with the other benefits of claws) and well, not much to say other then the fact I raped.
See the way the actual matches worked was we would all fight in teams, but they would only pass the top two players in the match. SO STUPID RIGHT? I mean, there was a freakin free-for-all mode which not only would have made the system shitons easier but did they use that? Noooooo, they just said lets use team instead. If only I choose the light side :c Now, how can I sum up the actual match in a few words... Ok. If you ever played ANY team-based FPS theres ALWAYS that guy, who just does a bunch of stupid stuff and messes up the whole match for the team, now sometimes hes 9 or just plain BAD at the game. This guy was not. He came in second on the multiplayer practice, he had the game in his freaking play log! But he seemed to just say fuck it all and fucked over my whole team, he was running around in fucking circles and kept dieing, in fact thanks to him our angel was out like 2 minutes into the match, all the other matches didnt see angels till about 4 or 5 minutes into the match. THAT wasnt the worse part, HE HAD MOST OF OUR DAYBREAKER PARTS (for those of you who dont know the DayBreaker is pretty much the Smash Ball of KI, it fires a endgame blast that can take out an angel easily along with everyone of his teamates.) I had like 1 and the other guy had 1 and our derpy angel had like 3. Then mean while he was getting owned by the other team. Now thats also my fault because I had been running away from some guy with a arm and I DID abandon my team and was separated for a few good seconds. Plus he was getting gang-raped also, So I rush in to save the day and I come in with some boss combos, but he fucked up and died anyway. BY HIGH JUMPING OVER THE FUCKING LEDGE THINKING HE COULD FLY.
It sucked. It was terrible and it made the trip feel like a waste of time. I just left after that (I said bye and good game and stuff though im not THAT bad of a sport) but atleast I got a free shirt and some AR cards out of it so it wasnt a total loss.
but dispite my raging I did have a good time and I REALLY want this game now. Dammit Ninty, release a eShop demo!
