The price is right

This goes out to all my Brit and Aussie blokes out there.

Is "The price is right" played in your country?

Comments

Well it has in the past in Australia, hasn't been on for some time now.

It usually makes a comeback every now and then.

Why did you want to know?

oh, more specifically is it the American (Bob barker/Drew Carey) version or do you have your own?

just curious i guess.

My grandmother won the Price is Right show.

She got a boat, furniture, money, etc

But that was before my time...

We had our own version, you don't generally see American game shows over here, I'm assuming because people wouldn't give a crap about a bunch of Americans winning prizes.

Plus we wouldn't know the prices of things in America.

I wonder about some of those "prices" on the price is right anyway. <_< Then again things are more expensive in california I hear!

I used to watch it all the time during the summers home from grade school. Have watched maybe 2 Drew episodes (I like the guy, and his old show, just dont like Price is Right like I used to I guess).

Saw one the other day while I was getting a haircut. The showcases at the end don't seem as grand as before. Before you'd get like a car, boat, and trip all in one. This one guy (he went over) was going for a BOOK (srsly a price is right book), couch, and tv. :\
