Bad News - So i decided to try to switch my dashboard finally to xbmc using the shortcut method today and all my xbox does besides play legal games is black screen (This isnt in the xbox forums cause i know i need to unlock using xbhdm and replace the default.xbe i replaced originally to screw it up.) Im just not looking forward to lugging the ol' box near the pc and i dont have any cds to burn

Good News - I went shopping tonight and I thought i lost my wallet but i actually didn't bring it with me in the first place, go figure.
(Update) I swapped DVD drives with my friends box and was able to boot a rescue and restore it.
