Technosource

To follow up my last gaming post I thought I would make a quick one about these LCD games. I got these at Target just after Christmas had ended. They were on a %50-off shelf, scattered about, I had to hunt for a few of them. I ended up paying just $0.41 for each of them.

The games are manufactured by Technosource, the Website on the back of the package is www.technosourceusa.com. They are each copyrighted 2006. The games include Super Soccer (20013), Skateboarding (20014), Super Basketball (20016), Super Pinball (20019), and Super Racing (20011). They have an on/off button and work off of LR41 button cell batteries.

Game play is EXTREMLY simple for these; you do a simple left-to-right action and after a bit of time advance a level. After 4 levels of difficulty the game beeps/flashes to let you know that you have won. They are great fun when spending time on the throne!

Here is a quick photo I just snapped:

I think I have sort of the same thing laying around....

Let me go look.

Edit: Crude, I think we threw them away.

Well, at least I know somebody that does have some.

yea, i love old style lcd games. they are really fun to me. gameplay is so simple and its about skill more than exploration or solving puzzles. that isn't to say i don't go crazy when my nes is hooked up! lol.

i'll see if i can get something posted about my game and watches. i have a bunch of other lcd games i'll have to try to dig out. i'm still digging in boxes to find one of my old radio shack/tandy games. i can't seem to find it, i don't recall throwing it out either. usually even if a battery leaks, i will clean out the battery area or replace the parts to keep the games working.

hmm i have some old wind-up games too. i should dig those out and post something on them. lol.
