Stories that really just..wtf..(ghosts, spirits, supernatural, etc)

OK well see, i personally do not believe in a higher-power..so im just..nothing. Atheist? Whatever. I don't care.

but whatever our beliefs are, it seems that the supernatural always challenges what we think we know. We all can say "yeah, well ghosts aren't real. fake crap" "im so badass because ghosts dont exist", etc
but those of you who think like this...do you really think so?

stories exist all around the world of the supernatural and even some of our family members might have a story to share. Most of us shake our heads when they start saying "the door just opened by itself, and i swear i closed it shut. it happened again 2 days later." -rolleyes-
but its unfair because we just weren't there to experience this.

Well theres a creepy story that just..is creepy..disturbing.
A story about what my grandpa saw when he was a child in a farm in Toluca. He said that his father would take him in the fields and work. school was just not an option. this is like deep around fields of just small houses and crops and hills. so each morning they would get up around 6am to take the horses to a nearby lake. so, my grandfather wakes up and takes the horses to the lake..as he approaches he notices a man washing his face in the lake..when my grandfather says Hello, "the man.." he said "turned swiftly at my direction, and i stood there, shocked and horrified, i turned and ran as quickly i could and when i got home i just hugged my father really tight, crying. my father tells me to calm myself and to tell him what happened. i told him 'i saw a man with the face of a dog but disfigured!. my father then tells me i have witnessed a Nagual. A witch that can take form of an animal but can go wrong. We went back to find the horses...they were still there but the man was nowhere to be seen. No one else around the area ever saw anything. So i dont really know what i saw"

Sounds silly, it does but my grandpa was very serious when he told me this. he sometimes still dreams about it.

Well i just hope this was just a prank..or something but if such things exist in this world..then im speechless.
I never want to witness that or live in a haunted house, nothing..and if i do experience something, then i was lucky.

Ghosts/spirits/karma/jesus/satan/muhammad, it's all the same fake bologna. I do use ghosts as an excuse to drunk drive though

I dunno if I should be offended because you don't believe in me :(

on a more serious note, i'm firmly going to be a "i'll believe it when I see it" and "there's an answer to everything paranormal" person.
I used to hate the crawl-space under my house. You could get at it from our laundry room, or a spare basement room nearish the laundry room. I'd never enter either alone. There was this lifesize doll in there and I could SWEAR it was alive. I'd see it move, hear it, etc. For years and years I was afraid of it. Then I just...I dunno, grew up. My imagination kind of dulled, and I stopped being scared of it. I started realizing everything I had seen or heard was just my imagination going into overdrive.
A persons imagination can be an incredibly deceptive tool.

I believe all gods are creations of man, but I do actually believe in ghost.
I am a perfectly logical and sane person who is also a serious skeptic. I only believe the things I see and only if I can't disprove them.
There have been several incidents in my life that I still lack an explanation for, nor do the people I was with can explain away.
You may not believe me, but I know saw.

Ahhh...Paranormal phenomena, the excuse people use to explain the unexplainable. I think of the supernatural the same way I think of religion, it was created by man in order to control others by using ghosts and stories and fear tactics etc.

A little off topic, but this totally reminds me of a glitch in Red Dead Redemption that tried to map a woman's body onto a donkey, the result was a female with a donkey's head that was ride-able.

Earth is just a small spec of sand on the beach of the universe. Ghosts, spirits, gods, etc are possible.

to tell you the truth i believe you in Mexico there is some scary shit that goes around there i have cousins who seen ghost and other things while over there also for the people who think they are not real trust me they are something you don't want to think as imaginary

Ghosts do not exist

I've even seen one myself; and can still categorically state that they do not exist

I've been told that I have the ability to contact spirits/energy from beyond. I've seen some things that can't be explained either. 1) There's this road that winds around the lakeshore, and is mostly industrial/logistics stuff. It's under a highway, and usually a lot of homeless people end up under it. I saw a well-dressed man putting up posters with a brush and some paste. He stood out to me because he was dressed in a neat suit and tie. After rounding the corner (this took about five seconds - we were in the car), he disappeared - and so did the posters. 2) My gf took us to visit her grandmother's grave. I felt a heavy presence in the air, and I got the feeling that her grandmother was judging me and approving of me at the same time.
