Question for 2 switch owners..

This question is for those who own two switches such as a lite and a regular switch with the regular having a considerably larger sd card... is there any way you can prevent the switch with the smaller card from matching the larger card switch and automatically downloading a game? I am trying to prevent my switch {llite} with a smaller SD card from downloading some larger file games since I only play them on the OG switch with the larger SD card Essentially I DON'T want all the same games on both switches.

It goes without saying, neither of these are CFW, they are all official fw.

I suspect I know the answer but I would like any advice, from someone with a bit more experience here.

I tried that, once downloaded a game on one it automatically downloaded on the other without asking me.... then tried deleting the game on one, it then deleted the same game on the other unit!.. or at least the icon....

When I installed Borderlands (happened in Bioshock as well) I installed (1 &2) icon for 3 also installed on OG. I installed 1 & 2 on switch 1 (OG) it automatically appeared on 2 (the exact same setup appeared on S Lte!), I didn't want any of it on switch lite at all! it auto-installed, downloaded!

EDIT wait I just checked, that option is already off.... it was off on the lite but NOT on the OG. I'll have to try deleting again...

I think I finally figured it out, You have to dig through the menus and enable ‘disable auto archive,.

do you mean software downloaded to your primary switch is automatically downloaded on secondary switches as well? where is this option? I see an auto archive option, but I'm not sure what it does. it's listed per game too.

Ok… system settings, manage software, (choose title) then once itle is open here , at top choose to ‘turn off’ prevent auto archiving this way once you deleted the title on One switch it won’t delete off of the other switch … unless you specifically choose it off the other one.

This choice must be made on both switches. This s**ts damn confusing.

Another words once you archive a title on one system it won’t automatically archive it on the other.
