Ok, I finally decided it would be good to update to windows 7 ultimate from windows vista starter or whatever. Now I have to back up my content and its taking forever. Eh whatever I guess I can wait 2 hours to back up my movies and music.

I'm pretty sure u can just upgrade from Windows XP or Windows Vista to Windows 7 without losing any of your files.
But for some stupid reason u can't upgrade from a lower version of Windows 7 (ie. home premium) to a higher version of windows 7 (ie. ultimate).
So since u are on Vista, u should be able to upgrade without losing your files. I think u can even start the installer from within windows vista if u want (booting off the disc will still work though).
@_Chaz_, no one ever said ultimate sucks, somebody did however say that everything other than ultimate sucks.
All the versions of Windows except Ultimate are... just Ultimate with a bunch of features removed.
Right, but what features are you pissed that they removed?
stuff included in ultimate is just mainly remote desktop and sever stuff
Yep, and if you consider yourself a true "poweruser" you turn off all that shit anyways, because they really are just resource wastes, as well as potential security risks. (I had Win7 down to 16 processes on start up) I used Ultimate tho, because it was the most seeded torrent. If your worried about RAM usage, as long as you've got 1GB you should be fine (Even with all the services etc and aero on). If you've got 2GB you should be golden (unless you plan on playing the latest of games). Win7 Ultimate really isn't a RAM hog, it uses RAM pretty clever actually. It will gobble up the free ram and use it as a sort of cache to speed up whatever else your doing, but if you need that RAM it will give it back. It appears to be using alot, when in reality it isn't.
Also I wouldn't trust any of the Windows update crap, moving from one OS to another is always risky buisness. Back up your data properly (which you should be doing regularly anyways) and just do a clean install.
Oh, I know what features ultimate has, I'm just curious if he even knows, let alone uses them.
Also, that smart RAM usage started in Vista, it's called Superfetch. People just bitches about it back then because stores were still selling machines with half a gig of RAM.
God I need a haircut. I need to look at some longer hair styles for guys because I actually am kind of liking the longer hair now but it looks like a damn mess currently.
@K3Nv3,
I normally will cut it real short once a year (2 on the sides and scissor cut on top, basically a crew cut without calling it one) but I wanna try something new for once. Break the mold a bit
Do you have a backup of the deleted ROM of the first Inazuma Eleven Souls, the hell version, the one where your players couldn't heal in the bright blue light because it was impossible? In the other available ROMs Pacific, Hard and Extreme, yes, you can! But I love the hell version, I find it much more challenging, doe
s anyone have a backup of it to send me?
