After a few months [when i say a few, i mean like years], i finally decided to try out this old thing.
an iPod Nano 3rd Gen. the screen's backlight broke so i just never used it. i decided to try it, and found out that it works!
it still has my old library that i never even knew i had! it is so old and unexpected considering how my taste of music changed!
