Yea i had my first day back today as well it was cool, met up with some friends and chilled and everything got back into flow I still need to bring in my books bit by bit because there back-breaking stuff...

Btw heres some tips if its your first year because im from AUS as well and unless your going to a private school ( fucking snob ) then listien close

1) Find some friends, don't just stick to the ones you had in primary school but make sure you don't completely ditch em as well
2) Don't be a know-it-all
3) Dress cool while staying in uniform if your school has one (ie. use Lynx, hair gel would make a good first impression) and i find wet hair looks cool if you just took a shower
4) Don't be anti-social
5) Make friends with pepole you have interests in common with

No, but its always good to
the reason you shouldn't but its always good to, is that you don't want to be talking about Halo or someother thing around normal highschoolers that don't know wtf your talking about.

6) You shouldnt stick to the same group of friends, by that i mean make friends with many people you have interests in, so you can make some friends that like gaming, then make a group of friends that like something like music or something your interested in, the thing behind this is so that you have a more tight-nit group of friends and always have some people to do something with, ie. go to the movies and see specific films eg. game releated, music related

My high school sucks, especially if you hang out with the wrong people. Here's my suggestion: don't hang out with the wrong people (obvious, amirite? ).

Remember to take classes you like btw, if you go into a class just to take it, you'll be incredibly bored every day of your life (in that class, at least). This may seem obvious, but it can be difficult to get into electives you want in high school.

Have fun in high school. I'm in my last year, graduating in about 4 months. My experience was shitty because I moved to another state while in 8th grade, and the school there was fairly bad, I went to another high school somewhere else in 10th grade, experience was pretty bad, classes were no fun, kept getting in trouble on the computers because of prick IT guys. I then went back to my previous school to finish 10th grade. Then in the summer I moved to Florida, I managed to get some decent friends in a matter of weeks, and my teachers were good. Moving through different high schools in different states in a horrible experience if you get stuck in shitty schools.
