My dad tries to understand what the U.K is

Hello British people and dad-blog enjoyers. I’ve got a blog that both of you can enjoy especially, today. As most of you probably know, your President prime minister thingy guy just announced that the UK is on lockdown. So, mildly bored and wanting to keep my dad informed, I decided to tell him. He had no idea what I was trying to say. Clarifying what exactly a UK is...was more trouble than I thought, though.

Me: hey dad they shut down the UK
Dad: I’m okay, are you okay?
Me: no...like...the U. K. country?
Dad: what’s a you Kay?
Me: uh Britain?
Dad: no clue?
Me: England?
Dad: where?
Me: tea people? Tut tut Cheerio with the accent?
Dad: never heard of it
Me: Sherlock Holmes? The country we fought a war against?
Dad: ...iraq?
Me: ...Manchester United’s home country
Dad: OHHH!

So, I’ve learned, whenever I need to tell my dad what place on the map I mean, I’ll just get a list out of sports teams. Thanks, soccer. Er, football.

not offended at all, i don't know why you would take that from what i said. i am simply unconvinced by your argument. And again, "oh yeah, Miami, that's where that team the Dolphins are from, right?" does not mean "yes I know the geographical location of Miami and I learned this because that is where the Dolphins are from"

UK? Never heard of it. Are you talking about the Ultimate Knife, which I once almost cut my finger off with (it got better)? Or the Umbral Knight? It could be the Ulysses Kangaroo, an endangered species that lives in the outback and loves skip-ropes.

I know what you mean. Same here.. A key is LACKING OF EDUCATION FOR GEOGRAPHY! In America, many people dont know where Azores is.. I said hello ? Azores ?? It is part of Portugal.. Between America and Portugal and it is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.. They have no clues. I bet many here dont know where is Azores, lol!

    Nice experience, you generally would want to consume within 6 months or so from package date, or make sure it's kept out of light and with a ~60% humidity regulation pack (like Boveda) in the container. That keeps it supple and not dried out and flavorful. Kept that way you're probably in best case scenario for like a year
