Going to France

So, tomorrow I will be leaving to go to France for two weeks. I'll be back on the 20th, in case anybody was wondering. I will miss you all, especially imshortandrad.

It's a shame I'm leaving when all the E3 excitement gets started up.

Bon voyage

I heard they don't have bathrooms in France.

You just go where you eat I guess.

The entirety of France is fairly connected and easy to get around. In two weeks, he could easily visit the entirety of the tourist friendly cities of France (pretty much all the non-industrial cities).

Oh and to ask where the bathroom is, you have to say: Ou est la salle de bain?

I know. You always own me anyway. (Or maybe that was because of our lag?) Because whenever I host, I always win, lol.

Actually it's "Où sont les toilettes ?". You got to use the plural form of "toilette"

It will depend the city.
But that's right that there less and less public bathroom.
Users are leaving it dirty, with condom and shoots :(

In my town there is no more public bathroom.
You have to go to restaurant, snacks etc. :(

Or anywhere, usually public shop receiving public users can't refuse (it's forbidden).

OH MAIS OUI!!! im in portugal but here we learn french as a 2nd language ( appart from english )

so, i went to disneyland paris on easter holidays... it rocked :)
france is great... a little expensive... like... a burger there costs like 14€ (menu)
xD

Et oui, Oú sont les toilletes c'est la forme correcte de dire "Where is the bathroom"
You can't use Salle de Baigns, because thats a bathroom and not actually a public bathroom
Salle de Baigns has a bath, a toilet, a wash-stand and everything else... a toilet in france only has a wash-stand and the toilet itself xD

They don't tend to have public ones, most Europeans have washing facilities in their own home. They do however have public lavatories. Although not as many as in other European countries.

I confirm this.
You could also use "J'ai envi de pisser, merde", but that's slightly less polite, as it translates to "Gotta take a piss, dude". But no one knows you there, so you can be an ass if you want :).

It's pretty sad how much I miss you. Be safe! :)
