many of the recent actions they've been taking are ridiculous . i can understand them wanting to sue the devs. that hacked their console but honestly , to go as far as to find all the ip. addresses of those on youtube and twitter?
what's the point of that ? what will you gain ? it's not as if when these devs. choose to hack your console that they plan to have negative intentions [as in to play illegal games and to stop buying legit games] . their whole plan is to just expand the versatility of your console to see how much more you can do with it . with you being limited , you aren't giving other chances to try their own games , or to develop games that people themselves have made . not just that , but apps, programs, software for the PS3, why not just give people their own chance to see what they can develop with the technology provided in the PS3?
are you that insecure ? are you afraid the PS3 will end up just like the xbox 360 or PSP ? what , if M$ can just ban those who try playing online , then why can't you do that ? oh wait , i know why , you won't have an income of money anymore . okay , so what if people won't have free online , then just charge em' , you know you have dedicated customers no ? or unless , you aren't confident about that ? you say you have customers , but how many are really dedicated to the console itself? i have a lot of friends who own a PS3, but many of them just say "PS3 is better because it has blu-ray . xbox doesn't have blu-ray. not just that , we have free online over here at PS3." . i find that a valid argument . i don't see anything wrong , because all they're doing is stating the differences between the console . they aren't necessarily valid for an argument or needed , but they're enough to say "oh great , i can just get this , and save more money every year instead of getting an xbox."
my friends probably aren't even up to date with gaming news . all they do is play CoD all day . i've moved on from console gaming . my Wii gives me something that isn't on any console : exclusives . think about it , are there any games that are on Wii AND PS3/xbox 360/PC ? not very many are there ... but you can get most games for PS3 on xbox or PC . i like my Wii , none of my friends pay much attention to it . they don't appreciate games on it , but i do . the games give me something new , something that's not CoD, something that isn't just killing . PS3 and xbox have their share of exclusives . there's no point in arguing in which is the better console anymore , they're equally the same . it's your share of games , and how dedicated you are on your investments . are you willing to pay every year just to play online? do you care much about the exclusives , or are you an all round gamer?

the xbox 360 and PS3 wars are simply pointless . they're equal consoles that provide their own ups and downs .
the Wii is a great system . i find that Nintendo is a great company , and the developers are given a more "fun environment" to design games .
