I think I fuct up bad

So, you know that girl from the last blog I posted who is also my bestfriend?

Well, tonight we were just chattin on Facebook and the conversation kinda went like this:
Me: Fuck dude, I'm bored
Her: I'm just depressed lol
Me: I noticed you aren't really yourself, why are you depressed?
Her: I need a boyfriend, me and B go to the mall and we see all these couples and it just makes me feel really lonely

*now keep in mind, I pretty much do like her even though she is my bestfriend and I was trying not to like her, but going back to the blog last week, she wanted to bang me at her house but she was really drunk so I wasn't gunna do anything and then we were at a party a few days afterwards and she started 21Q'ing me about liking her and I gave in and told her*

Me: I see.
Her: Yeah, its poopy
Me: Yeah it is, being lonely is balls (trying to get her to give me some more hints)
Her: Yeah, idk

After this I tried to play it off acting stupid, so it wasn't so awkward because I am really confused about everything which I will get to in a minute, and she just said everything so fast that I was just like "how the fuck do I respond to this?"

And its extremely confusing, she asked me to Prom back in April which is usually a sure sign that someone likes you a little bit, but the whole Prom thing feel through and I don't want to dig up those bad memories and that story. And then she tells me sometimes about how she likes this other kid, and she has done shit with my friends brother too so I don't fucking know what to think at all. I don't know if she is just ranting to me about it or wanting to hint at the fact that she likes me. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU- I don't know what to do, she ended the conversation though and I knew I fucked up after that. I feel like I shit, I wish I said something but Idk what to think.

Yeah, take it from someone who knows, it's better to get it off your chest, than just hinting at it, hoping they get it. It starts eating you up, and yeah...makes you feel depressed *bad memories >.< Best of luck to you, whatever you do.

Just tell her how you feel dude, what's the worst that could happen ? i mean yeah the feeling of rejection, but also i mean she will still be your best friend no matter what.

... see no good can come from hinting, she might as well have said it straight if it's true rather than leaving you wondering.
I say go for it but what do I know;
- Go for it and worst scenario is rejected and find out she was just ranting so just work around it.
- Go for it and lightly get let down.
- Go for it and find out she likes you back hopefully. :)

Even if she says no then you won't hurt your friendship with her it might be awkward for a little while depending on what she says but that will be no problem.

I say tell her. This is of course, coming from someone who has about as much chance with a female as a whelk does in a supernova.

I recently had a stint with a gal, was chasin' her until we were in a round of bluntness (Where we're blunt, pretty much) and I said that I was after her, but didn't know if I was in the friend zone or had a chance.

We then proceeded to have dinner at a Mexican resturant that friday. The waiter guy thought we were together, and he brought us free food (TWO friend ice creams instead of one!).

And that night we made plans for her to come over Sunday morning.



My circumstance from just telling her is either neutral or positive.


Maybe that'll give you the courage to be blunt?

another +1 for telling her, the worst thing that can happen is being rejectedt, she will still be a good friend.
I have had the same thing with a girl (got rejected, now she's still a good friend)

But the fact thats shes doin shit with other guys likes other guys, she's probably trapping you in the friend zone.

You should take any opportunity you get (even though shes drunk).. or you'll be stuck in a rut for ages like "fuuuu". Being a nice guy doesn't help in these cases.

I don't think it's smart to f..k her when she's drunk, it could easely dammage any relation you have with her, becaus she won't trust you anymore (becaus you could abuse that trust)

1. Totally unexpected.
2. You have an excuse.
3. Yeah it's mushy but just tell she doesn't have to feel alone and that you like her

If you don't tell her, you WILL regret it later on. Had this exact situation in high school. A girl and I hung out together everyday for over a year, both had crushes on one another, never said anything, as a result nothing ever happened. We're both happily married now ten years later (to other people ofcourse) but we still talk once in a while and both wonder what could have been. My wife is awesome, it's just one of those things where I'm curious what, if anything, would have come from a relationship with that girl.

Exactly why I didn't do it.

And to everyone else, I really want to but I will tell you straight up. I'm a pussy, I'm too nervous to do anything or tell her, no matter how much I want to tell her or whatever I just can't do it. If she told me she liked me, then it would be so much easier. Idk, its so confusing, I wish I wasn't such a pussbag, and another reason though why I don't want to tell her or ask her is because we have been bestfriends for years, and if she doesn't like me, I don't want our friendship to be awkward. So I'm just confused and all that shit. FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU-
