Starcraft II

Well, today I tried to play it when my dad went out, I went on his PC and fired up Steam and logged into his account. He just got Starcraft II: WoL so I decided to try it out. So I start up the game and a messages comes up and says "You need a Battle.NET account to go online.". So I decided to sign up, everything was going well until it asked me for my postal code and my street address (Remember, I just moved in to a new house last month). So I called my dad for my postal code and my street address and I copied and pasted it into the registration, I successfully created the account! I verify my account, then I sign in again into SC2 then it gives me another error saying "Your Battle.NET account hasn't been registrated to this game.". Fair enough, so i go back on to Battle.NET and It says I need my CD code to add it to my games on my account, So I get my dads copy of his code for the game and I get ANOTHER error. "Sorry, but this code has already been used, please use another one." So I thought I was screwed... But then I remembered something! KEYGEN!! So I gave it a shot, I got a keygen and got a key and copy and pasted it into the section, It's good! So I try signing in to SC2 again and then I get.... THE SAME ERROR FROM BEFORE!! So I double check on Battle.NET If i added it and... It didn't... So I just gave up...

Otherwise, I just had a boring day....

Lolcrap. I tried to comment on this thread and GBAtemp went offline like 5 seconds before I hit post.
Sheesh.

Why didn't your Dad just let you use his battle.net account? Since it probably already had the games actual key registered for his account. It's obvious a keygen wouldn't work for SCII. Even if they do eventually, it'll take longer then a few weeks after release.

Also, scan for a virus. Keygens very much enjoy housing viruses. Especially ones that don't actually work.

He said "He forgot his password".

And don't worry, I run a AVG virus check on every Keygen when I download one.

There's most definitely a password retrieval service so long as you have the email address that was registered to the game. Just ask your dad about that, then find the service and ask him to take care of things.

Keygens usually won't work on anything that has to be authenticated online, and StarCraft II is essentially only online.
