Hopefully, you'll get better soon. Though a 3-4 day wait ..and the results..seem kind of pressuring.

My girlfriend has sand in her gallbladder, so I've learned a thing or two about the whole gall thing. She was on the bland diet for a month and half, there was the possibility that she'd have to get her gallbladder removed, in which case you have to be on the bland diet for three to four months but then you can gradually revert to your normal diet (provided your "normal" diet doesn't consist of fast food, soda and powdered cholesterol). The liver picks up the pace and makes up for the lack of a gallbladder and you get back to normal. The "medication and bland diet forever" is the worst worst worst case scenario, you shouldn't worry about that.

And chances are you won't even have to get it removed.

And maybe it's not even gall stones, maybe it's just gastritis or helicobacter pylori and you'll get a round of pills to take for a month and that's that.
