I thought the ZuneHD was not avaible in canada :/

easy to get off ebay or similar sites, a zune in Canada you wont be able to take advantage of the marketplace and the social aspects of the player, i'd like to get one one to replace the ipod touch i have, i personally love the Zunes UI.

and it is pretty nicee,
getting used to it is hard when you try other UIs for other devies like the iPod Touch or the PSP's [used it for music before... since i had nothing >_>].

and yes,
the ZuneHD is not available in Canada. if you can manage to ask a relative,friend or cross the border to get one, you can.
the only 2 features that aren't designed for use in places outside of the states is the HD Radio and marketplace.
the radio still works . only downside i can see is not seeing the Artist + Song. i don't mind to be honest, radio still works, and i will just use the HD Feature in the states then!
now for the marketplace, i was required to make a new email with an address from the states. now being the lazy person i was, i searched postal codes in new york, took the first one, put it in, made an account and done. now i can access the Marketplace! only use for me there is for the apps.
the OLED screen is nice,
but it probably isn't as good as the Cowon S9/J3's AMOLED screen.

Is the screen anything the the OLED screen on the iPad, if so. i can say. IT IS ONE SEXY SCREEN.

I can't believe there's people out there who buy the Zune HD. I mean, come on. It's such a lie. The resolution is clearly nowhere near close to even 720p. What the fuck, Micro$oft. Another one of their scams to get money from people, I guess.

i prefer the ipod touch just because the screen is a little bigger for videos , hows the battery life i know the one in the ipod sucks so whats the battery on the zune like ?

it has those normal, average games,
leme just give you a full list of apps:
- Audiosurf Tilt [it is like a Rhythm game. you use any one of your songs, and tilt the device while collecting these "things" and avoid these other "things" that cause you to bump/jump high and miss the "things" you gotta collect].
- Checkers, Chess, Sudoku [i'd say people know these games already]
- Hearts, Solitaire, Spades, Texas Hold 'Em [Card Games]
- Goo Splat [gotta keep on tapping all the Goo blobs. Keep that screen clean and blob free, and make sure the giant liquid ooze at the bottom doesn't rise to the top or you lose]
- Hexic [lol wut? iunno what game this is]
- Labyrinth [it's like that Marble and the Maze game. you tilt it around to go through obstacles and get to the proper hole. iunno if it is good or not but they made changes by making it look like a pop-up book made of paper]
- Lucky Lanes Bowling [yeah bowling game. use the touch screen or use the motion of the device. reminds me of Wii Sports' Bowling game]
- Project Gotham Racing: Ferrari Edition [yay 4 racing game!]
- Space Battle 2 [move a ship around, shooting enemy ships. simple as that]
- Vans Sk8: Pool Service [some portable skate boarding game. it is hard IMO]
- Shell Game... of the Future! [lol wut?]
- Calculator, Stopwatch, Piano [self-explanatory]
- Facebook, Twitter [interface isn't as nice as the iPod Touch's one]
- Weather [yes, you can check the weather! where ever you want . too bad it requires Wi-Fi]

That's all the apps... They are all free at the Marketplace. I'd say, wait for a few more months or maybe even wait for the 1 year release. Who knows where it is going... Hopefully, they learn to utilize the Nvidia Tegra chip better...

And yes, the OLED screen is nice . Only 3 settings though: Low, Med, High. The highest setting doesn't blind you, which is iunno Good i guess.

Sorry but, I fell for this Marketing Scheme. I would've honestly, gotten a Cowon J3, but seeing as I own an Xbox, I am expecting it to be of more use together. Not only that but the Cowon J3 seems to concentrate on Sound Quality and Video Quality. I am not very... Interested in this at the moment. Maybe if one day, I have the extra money, I will invest in one.

And for battery life,
i can't really tell,
since i charge it a LOT...
but i used it for a good 4 hours and a bar never went down.

Wow.... i think for now i will stick with my Dads iPad/My iPod touch.... maybe if it gets any good developers then i shall see.....

I actually would buy it just for Hexic, haha.... since my iPod has no music..... just some podcasts.. and apps, i use it for games and irc mostly.

If i want music... i would just use my lappy....

The thing that kept me away from Zune in the past was the Zune pass... i don't want to make a us account, even thought we have a house in florida i could use. i just think since iTunes already supports canada, why not?

But, i like the idea of the zune pass. unlimited music for 1 payment each month, amazing!

I'd like to see ifish holding an iPad on the go.

Zune Pass still exists.
but think about it hard.
$15 x 12 months = $180

And with $180, i am guessing taxes might hit in...?

but it seems you'll be paying $180 a year to the very least.

Now just think...
You can get 3 games... A new PMP... Savings to a new console... an endless list can just come in here.

I just get my music off of youtube... that's enough for me.

Better then buying off iTunes, that is why i have no music i use iTunes for the Radio
