Two of my dearest relatives might have COVID because of a dumbass

I have two relatives: a married couple both in their 70s. The woman is my Mum's third cousin. They are in great health and don't look nor act older than 55. They live abroad and we visit them every year. I love them very much and they are like grandparents to me.
Their son married a selfish idiot. Whenever the parents visit, she gets them to do her chores. The son seems to be too intimidated or just lazy to do anything about it. On their latest visit, the dumbass thought it would be a wonderful idea to host a pajama party for the kids. (Since the grandparents came from abroad, they are forced to stay in quarantine in the house for two weeks.) Surprise-surprise, somebody had COVID and now they are all sick. Technically, we don't know if they are positive yet, but they all have high temperatures, so it seems very likely…
I really hope they'll be alright. I don't want to lose them because of this bitch.

UPDATE: The bitch is forcing the sick grandma to wake up early and cook for the family, and her sick husband to go shopping.
The grandma cried on the phone while she told this.

UPDATE 2: The grandpa collapsed this morning. They took him to a hospital and he's alright now.

UPDATE 3: They are mostly alright now. None of them have high temperatures anymore. The grandpa is taking the longest to recover: he's mostly just eating and sleeping, but he's fine.

That's so annoying. You'd think people would learn to play it safe after all this crap for a year now, but no. Hope it all goes well for them :(

I am very, very sorry to hear such a sad Story about your Relatives.

What makes me more sad about this Covid Chapter:

I think, maybe ALL Maskrefusers/Vaccinrefusers/Testrefusers are Iditos and Ignorants for you now.
(If I am wrong, correct me please)

They are not all the same.....you may not believe it.
Some of them has great Respect from the Virus and his Consequences and do not deny it.Definitely not.
But the course of the disease is different for everyone.

I am on your Side,to say THIS was a really dumb Action.

I wish you from the Bottom of my Heart, they get an Vaccine and get well quickly.

To say,the "Bitch" should not get one...is ok...but makes this really People better against other ?

damn, I hope they recover soon. I had my first covid vaccine dosage yesterday. you have to take the second dose 28 days later, so I have my second dose on the 31st at 9:30. it's priorities in the states, but I'm not a priority. I just had the chance through the Indian clinic I go to.

That’s super frustrating to hear. Just because vaccines are rolling out, doesn’t mean the pandemic is over. It’s insane to think the pandemic is over, but some believe this. Some also think it’s a hoax. I saw a sign yesterday, hanging on a fence above the freeway, it said that vaccines contain human fetus and not to take it. People believe the stupidest shit. Fucking idiots!

I hope that they are okay. My sister worked at Hospital and she got COVID-19 a few months ago and she was healthy woman as far as I know but she didnt get sick. And her daughter too. They just got a funny cold and a little cough then they got better in few days and test positive so they stayed home and she was worked at home for 2 weeks. She is already back to work in Hospital few months ago.

If your two relatives are healthy.. How could they be so sick with high temperature ?

By healthy, I meant that they are still lively and not deteriorating due to their age.

Damn smiley, hopefully all of you will make it out fine. Just hurts to see that people don't bother to keep 2 meters distance and get up and about on each other. I've seen it at my school, and surprise surprise, 25% of my teachers now have COVID.

Here in Quebec too, there are tons of selfish dumbass who spread the Covid jsut because they don't care or don't believe it exists
There's a law in Quebec now, you can't be outside after 20h (21h30 in less affected regions)
Well there's a city at the south of Montreal, Sherbrooke, it is the town where there are the highest amount of contravention for being outside after 8PM
And yet, they still go outside... ish... most of them are young adults or teenagers
They do parties and stuff like that... come on...
They just don't care and they fuck up all those who respect the law

Cuz you see, here in Quebec, regions are divided in different color, for now there are red and orange regions
Orange region's peoples can go to restaurant, to cinema, to theatres, etc
Red region's peoples can't. They can go to restaurant but only for take out
And, surprise-surprise... Yesterday, Francois Legault, Prime Minister of Quebec, announced that all regoins in Quebec would turn orange... EXCEPT, the great Montreal (Montreal and the 4 regions around it)
Sadly, I'm in the great Montreal, and I respect every single laws to eradicate the Covid, and yet, I'm still in red region...
Why? Because of those selfish idiots who do parties and such...
Life sucks in society xD

So far, I'm lucky in that no-one I know has been infected; my bro and Mum got tested several days ago, since he was feeling sick (flu-like symptoms), and they were both Negative. As for myself...I don't go out much, and the only time I got tested was before Christmas (Negative).
As for my aunt and cousin, currently living with my beloved grandparents, as far as I know all four are Negative, thankfully.

Indeed, this is one of the few times being Negative is a positive thing - just wish there weren't absolute brain-dead morons helping the spread...

my uncle's mom recently died, but from implemented measure against Covid, not from Covid itself
She was 94 years old, top shape, most likely in better shape than me
She was taking walk everyday, doing sport, etc.
She was going to visit her grand-grandchildren every week
But when Covid hitted Quebec, she got confined in her room because she was at risk (over 70)
She depressed, perished, and finally got a stomach tumor because of her emotional state falling down
She died few weeks later :cry::cry:
