So i post something on reddit.

System flag as not long enough post so they deleted it, i create another one to be welcome with please wait before posting again!!! Suuuuuuuuure is stupid never in my life iv seen so many website like that ...surely to prevent spam but again the system could not see i have not been approved to post in the 1 place what a joke in 2021. Is it alway BS like that on reddit?

I've had some lousy experiences on Reddit, yes. I have seen a lot of subs with overly restrictive regulation, tyrannical mods, and long lists of rules that are neither clearly posted nor consistently applied. Generally it is best not to try posting a thread at all unless you're really, really certain that you need to.

Even when you post a comment, in a popular thread it is quite likely that no one will ever see it.

But if you're just passively reading and observing, without trying to contribute, then there are still good times to be had.

reddit has, really only one thing they did which i can remember in recent memory, which was GME stock buyout. Besides that most controversies are just
"Company is bad, we need to stop them!"
"YES!"
and silence for... who knows how long. Plus there are the power-tripped mods and weirdos and weirdo subreddits. At least 4chan actually does... something every once in a while, with their multiple raids on different websites and events.
but meh, that's my two cents on this. it's not like every social media website is perfect nowadays, far from it, but at least it's interaction in a world where we are separated

Remember Project Chanology? It seems so wholesome, pure, and innocent compared to what's gone on these last four years. It was almost certainly not worth what came next.
