Everything is okay

I want to believe everything is okay. That everything is alright. But a part of me makes me feel anxious and wrong all the time.

I can't sleep. I can't work. I can't play videogames. I can't code my hobbie projects. I can't do what I want to do. I simply don't feel like doing anything.

What is this feeling? Has any of you reading this felt like this some time?

I don't know what to do. I can't do a thing. And it makes me feel even worse.

Something is wrong with me I guess. But I don't really know what is it.

I need to talk. Or I want to talk. I don't know anymore.

Anhedonia? Burnout?

Other than that and regarding alexander's post, it is my experience from old times that if something that worries me in some way is lingering around and I avoid it by escapism, I actually forget about it (the reason itself), but the sensation that something is wrong stays, now unidentified, and keeps lingering around and making me feel anxious.

Perhaps you avoided something important through some way of escapism and now you don't remember what it was but its weight still brings you down in a subconscious level?

Seems like common symptoms of depression. I highly recommend going to a local behavioral health clinic or just seek out a cool therapist :). I hope you feel better dude, cheer up life moves on and changes, you'll get through it c:

Not sure what it is. It could be like @sarkwalvein said. But I can't actually tell if there's something important I left undone.

I think I've been an anxious person all my life, but since 3 weeks ago, I feel like I can't do anything.

I guess I'll need to rethink what I've done recently and what makes me feel wrong.

And no, @alexander1970 , I haven't experienced an important enough event for knocking me off track. I wish that was the case, I would at least know the source of my feelings.

Sounds like depression. I would look into getting a therapist of sorts even if you don't see them too often. Even if it isn't depression they should be bale to help you find ways to cope with your anxiety. Either way good luck

I feel like this sometimes. Usually I know it is false and have to try to use cold hard logic to tell myself nothing is wrong. But it doesn't always make the feeling of dread go away. And then sometimes I'm just not sure if I've forgotten something. That's the worst :(

One of my close friends has this same feeling and I do too, I don't know what is for sure and I hate it but relying on my friends really pulls me through, it's hard to deal with though...
sorry that's not helpful x3

If you do seek out professional "help" avoid medications at all cost. I mean, try exercising and changing your diet and behavior for at least 6 months before even considering taking something your body will then require to function properly. If they aren't addicting then why is there a sometimes year long "withdrawal"? Something to ponder.

Physical exercise works for some people. Maybe try a group fitness class at your local gym. (No one is paying attention to you unless you particularly draw attention to yourself.)

Thanks everyone for your comments.

@Quantumcat It's the worst feeling for sure. I hope you don't get to feel that way that much. You're a wonderful person. Remember that.

@MicmasH_W You're helpful just by commenting here. I wish you and your friend to get better about this. Yep, it's hard to deal with this...

@billapong Thank you. I don't really want to medicate myself, so I will really try something else before getting to that.

@Kwyjor I think that's a bit hard for me. But I could still try exercising by myself. Thanks.

it's probably better, because not all keys on key sites are stolen

DRMs are getting stronger these days
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they bought their own game on a key site and checked where they came from and it turned out they were review copies he had given out by email to someone
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    *all* of them
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no storefront I'm aware of (at least on pc) requires the devs to pay for the keys they generate
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
they don't lose money doing this, even if someone decide to chargeback
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so that seems to be a pretty common thing, i kinda blame the dev for that one though as they were giving out like 5 keys to someone just because they asked for multiple copies for review for whatever reason and there were multiple people doing this. he should've seen the red flags
