Another update about my situation.

It's been a while since my last update.

So long story short, my friend's parents wanted to get guardianship over me but my grandparents didn't want that. After a bit of arguing, they finally agreed to give these wonderful people guardianship. So now they can get me registered for school and I can get a driving license. I deeply miss my brother and sister (they are still with my grandparents), as well as my mom and dad. I love them all.

Well, I'd say that this is the end of this blog series. I want to thank everyone that have helped me through these hard times.

And for those people that think this is all bullshit, you need to get your heads out of your asses and look at today's world.

Again, thanks for all the mental support.

Sincerely,

Tyler.

Glad you are hopefully getting where you need to be, and getting a chance to do this whole out in the world business.

@sks316 Yeah. I'm happier now. I do miss my brother and sister as I said, but I'll see them again. I turn 16 on the 21st so I might be able to get my drivers license. Then I can drive to see my family.

@leon315 they both are drug addicts. My mom can't keep a job and she doesn't even have a house or a car. My dad is the same way.

I read your story from the first few posts in, including that big wall of text. If you've seen my posts 'round here, you'd know that I love to post similar things to that effect, but I usually try to stay away from talking about my family as, while my living situation certainly ain't as bad as yours (no one in my family outside of one of my older brothers who's a preacher is certainly as extreme as your grandparents!), I can relate to how you feel, what with them having their Rule of Kings/Dynastic Cycle-esque methods of justifying their authority and their requirements for living under their roof and how stuff you didn't work for is liable to be taken away, the mistrust after your curiousity about a certain rule of the Internet, everything. Add my parents being a part of the conglomeration of churches that, whether they'll admit it or not, played a part in spawning the New Independent Fundamental Baptist church (Steven Anderson and his associates), and I'll say that, if I had to tell my younger self some advice, it'd be to get a job out of high school, make enough money to get the things you want, move the fuck out of Illinois (this state's going to be a quicksand to live in financially with people leaving and more taxes incoming, but hey, marijuana's legal now, and people will get to be paid $15 an hour if they can find a job), and settle for an apartment and then go to college when you are free to be yourself, invite girls or whomever to your house, do whatever you want, etc..

If ya' ever want to chat, I'd be happy to oblige when I can respond!
