blog entry 19: new os?

its been awhile ever scents i made a new blog entry. i switched from Ubuntu and windows to just Ubuntu i was doing some testing with Linux mint. so far from my testing it did everything i wanted to do better then Ubuntu. my question is what Linux OS should i use. so far im sticking with lunix mint (ver. 18.3) . please let me know i would like to know your feedback

You really can't go far wrong with mint if i'm honest. I personally have never had a problem with it, at the end of the day it's all down to personal preference and what you want from the OS.

There are literally hundreds of different Linux distros and spins out there. Personally I took time to test the ones that looked interesting to me and ended up settling on Solus after many years of testing.
Linux Mint is actually an amazing distro and Ubuntu done right. I personally suggest Mint over Ubuntu anyday

I would not recommend suicide linux - any wrong command resolves to rm -rf /*

So far, the best I've found is apt-get-based distros, because it is so much better when you can apt-get source to get exactly what is running on your system, and then apt-get build-dep if you want to hack it and rebuild it yourself.
That and having an Enlightenment package is all I ask from the distro maintainer.
(latest installed was Ubuntu-Mate)

Linux Mint is great, use it myself for a long time, if you can do everything you want to do, you are in the right distro.
