Scratching the surface of bad programing

Alright, I think I have gone to far. I have never gone so low in my life but I made this atrocity seen below. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/110290637/#player It has working text box sounds, text, and background music...it hurts so much knowing I wasted a few hours of my life on this...

I will port this to visual basic when I get a chance, i think I might just make this my hello world of sorts that I port to every language I learn just for the hell of it

you should try to do it without their text boxes. might be a fun challenge.

Good Job though, I Finished my Vb Courses this week, I passed, but if you plan to learn it for like programming and what not, I would not suggest it.
(Plus its was the only course my school had .-.)

same here, though they had an ap class that had java, but almost everyone flunked the class...well, time to boast a little as I passed with fling colors, but, ya, vb is all I could get at my school, but they just straight up removed it from the available classes this year which is kinda sadening

I actually remember using something similar to this in a game programming class in college. I stuffed so much code into that thing, that by the end it had started to crash on me with almost unbearable frequency. I managed to miraculously finish the project, but once I finally came to class the day it was due, I realized it had decided to drop more than half my code, turning my game into something Digital Homicide could have made. (You know, or EA.) Now, seeing those pastel-colored, nested, tinker-toy looking blocks gives me mild PTSD to that moment I almost lost my shit in front of a full class of strangers.

I took the time to organize it more in the matter of what I remember in vb, ya want me to show ya what it looked like originaly?

welcome to the original, it doesn't have sound though, my programing teacher was trying to find something for us to do so she told us to go to scratch and make a character dance, and this is what I had made
