[Solved, But will take suggestions] So my fiancee wants to get back together with me

Yes, I was engaged with my girlfriend (ex-fiancee) until she took a joke the wrong way and ended the engagement Which left me depressed for two weeks. Now her boyfriend broke up with her and she wants to get back together. What should I do ?

No. If she got another boyfriend in under 2 weeks, and doesn't know how to take a joke, then let you be you. If she loved you, she wouldn't break up over something as little as a joke.

Yea, maybe... this seems like she's either really young, or unstable. (Or both) My wife gets pissed at me for stupid jokes all the time. She has never left me, gotten dumped, then wanted to come back. Love is all good and well, but sometimes when it's over, it's over for good reason, and it's best if all parties move on. Not saying that is the case here. Just saying it's possible.

if my girlfriend breaks up over a joke and sleeps with another person then i will also retain my right to sleep with someone when I'm angry! two can play that game.

if someone's immediate reaction to being dumped is to try to get back together with an ex after breaking off an engagement over a very silly misunderstanding, i would stay very very far away. putting the boyfriend aside, it's obvious she didn't think through cutting off your relationship very thoroughly.

it hurts, but thinking in the long-term is much more important when marriage enters the picture.
