On February 24, 2016, I attempted to install arm9 loader hax on my o3ds. It went well until actually installing it. I'm not sure what went wrong (I suspect the NAND restore that happened without the tool or the recommended guide at the time telling me about). Whatever the case, I got a blue-screen brick. Unrecoverable without a hard mod. So I ask @hundshamer to do it. He replied pretty quickly, saying he charges $25 for a restore or $40 for a hard mod (not too long after I saw reports of $50) plus $7 return shipping (plus the $6.80 it took for me to ship it). He also said his usual turnaround was 3 weeks. It seemed like a good deal at the time: $54 + 3 weeks to revive a console I killed. And so, I sent my 3DS in the mail and used Google Wallet to give him the $47. He confirmed he recieved my 3DS just two days later, on February 26, 2016.
During the 3 weeks, I would occasionally ask how it was coming.

And now he hasn't even read my PMs, including an important one. On April 25, 2016, I gave him a different address to ship to, and he hasn't read it yet. Since then he's been posting exclusively on his profile page, giving vague updates that we're not entirely convinced are true anymore. The evidence seems to indicate he's been lying.
The only indication that anyone's actually received theirs back is @breakingspell.
hundshamer's most recent status is:
I suppose I can give him another week or two. After all, as of May 3rd:
If the underlined bit is true, that makes his exams this week. However, more communication would be nice. In order to respond (or at least read his customers' PMs), it would take, what, an hour?
Anyway, hopefully this documents most of the troubles his customers are going through. Waiting over 11 weeks (7 more than initially indicated) for mods to be completed, and being kept in the dark.

However, he hasn't been online since Sunday, May 8 at 12pm, so either he doesn't plan on telling anyone he's sent their 3DS's, or he's flat out lying.hundshamer said:
