the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

Latest debugger doesn't seem to return test values. Is "exploit returned: success!" the equivalent to DEADCAFE?

I've noticed than on N3DS if you have turned on wireless communication, but not connected to WiFi memchunkhax2 seems to be more stable (got 100% success rate on 9.9.0-26E)
Edit: Well, success rate isn't 100%, but it's higher when not connected to WiFi network

I don't think so no, early on that's all we had success with, but I believe it works on everything now

If you have an O3DS you can carry on with everything that needs to be done, its only the N3ds that needs work

OKay. i've downgraded my O3DSXL from 10.3 to 9.2. The problem is that I can't launch GateWay. Trough the brower the console freeze and show a ton of pixels on the touch screen and a frozen browser on the top screen. I don't know how to launch the Homebrew Launcher in 9.2 without Ninjahax, that's why I need help.

Guys, I downgraded my 2ds to 9.2 from 10.3 using this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-the-simple-guide-to-downgrading-your-3ds.407888/page-59#post-5921184


And everything works except FBI on emunand. I'm using cakes right now. Anyone with the same problem? Also CTRbootMan says Err: khaxinit if loaded from emunand. FBI on sysnand works perfect.

@Sukiyami Just to confirm: can you try to install fbi.cia or bigbluemenu.cia from H&S FBI and then install a little cia to test it? (hblauncher_loader as an example).

I tried to re-downgrade my 3DS ith the lastest version of sysUpdater that time but it's stuck at #5, I like, really, really need help.

Alright i'm stuck at 8# now...
