I'll probably have a third opinion a week from now
(Hold me to it)
But I figure I'll have a second opinion as I've been here a few days already.
So it's got its goods and bads.
Let's start with the bads because... iunno, why not?
So I don't know many people on my floor.
They don't seem like terrible people, but I work as tech support who goes to people's dorms, and they all seem more together than our floor.
I also don't know many people in my actual dorm
(Which may change in a week, which is why I'll need a third opinion)
So it's kinda awkward to eat as I'll either bring it up or eat alone.
But wutever.
The good?
So I've got a pretty solid job.
It's tech support
(as I mentioned)
and it hardly feels like work.
(So far it's not hard at all, but wutever)
We're kinda terrible at our jobs,
SP2 on Vista won't upgrade?
Reformat and reinstall with our own disc that has SP2 on it already.
(It works)
But wutever, it's fun.
Using the showers aren't awkward really.
It was at first, now it's kinda wutever.
Not that I'm completely used to it.
My roommate's a cool guy.
He helped me set up my loft and we're cool with sharing food and drinks and everything.
I've also been hanging with people I met at orientation
(They don't live in my dorm, but I walk over to where they live)
It's been fun.
We hang, play Mario Kart 64 and stuff.
Good times.
On the quest for bnwchbammer to find a girlfriend in college there's a girl I kinda have my eye on.
She was at orientation, but we didn't talk a whole lot.
Still, for wutever reason I've got a thing for her.
We'll see if I ever make a move, but if we hang out as a group again I should talk some more to her.
Homecoming's not till October, so there's time to ask her to that I guess.
Again, haven't had classes yet, so we'll see how it turns out.
Overall college experience:
Not bad.
Nothing compared to summer, but not bad.
Well, I will be heading out now.
My agenda for the rest of the nite consists of playing Half Life, eating dinner, unallocated space, then having a midnight breakfast with the crew.
Peace out guys.
