Acekard, Memorycard, Postcard.

So, to keep it brief, since it IS community related (but not completely)

My acekard and OEM 8gig MicroSD arrived. AND BOTH WORK, seems like the OEM card was CLASS 6 ! YES. Even though... I kinda do not need it but - IT IS AWESOME.

also, acekard was confirmed to be real (not a fake)

MAXIMUM RANT ALERT!!
Why cannot I have nice things?
Again a flashcart that supposedly has springloaded microSD slot did not have it. It is real deal, confirmed and all, but I really would liked springs... Those videos showed me of better...

Also, this time my DX "letter" (that is size it normally is, and normally arrives straight to my post box) was in Signed Letter shipping - I had to go down to post office in dreadful weather, show my PASSPORT as ID, sign the paper and then I got my acekard and Memory card.... (that is the post card part, A card from post office)

Not bitter, that's life, and this is my table when I am managing files on THREE memory cards for two flashcarts same time (well, For now, I packed cyclo back to it's package...)

Pushing the microsd card in to your ackeard until it says "click" should fix it.
If not, then get a replacement from DX.

??
Sometimes brand new acekards have the spring "locked" by default
so you unlock by doing what I told him. If that doesn't work then he should return it
unless the spring isn't important to him.

I'd be happy if i got the non spring loaded one, I heard that the spring loaded one is easier to brake

I had an Acekard 2i that had worked fine for months. Then one day it would no longer retain the memory chip. Someone here on this forum suggested that I push the chip in "really. really, hard" and when you get a click the spring will be reset.

Hey, I had nothing to lose, the cart was unusable as it was, what was I going to do, break the cart further? I tried it and <CLICK!>

That cart is working fine to this day.

Go give it a try.
You do have to push "really, really, hard". It does take more pressure than you would think.

Good luck!

I received my in the locked position as well i thoght it was non-spring loaded but i prefer spring

The spring is annoying as fuck. After a few times of forcing my card in I think the spring stopped working, which is good.

Nice coffee rings though :P I kid bro, I kid. I enjoy mess over organization. It makes things more human.

For some reason that shot looks really good. What camera did you use?

Nikon Coolpix S570

... It should be for everyone but I keep it in my room for snapshotting purposes.

Did they change the Acekard's packaging, or am I seeing things? I remember the box mine came in was thicker and shorter.

I think... Two REAL acekards came in packages like that (the packages are the cheap ones with only a acekard and NO memory card reader)
