This is gona be awesome I've played both Xenosaga one and two on the ps2(did'nt finish either) and now I can finally play them all the way through. On the ds no less.

not quite sure on that, i only check in from time to time, so i have no idea why it took them quite a while, could be due to unforeseen technical details and etc?

i think so, but i do think if they have got the hacking at 40% they may have some technical difficulties, then again it's fast that they get over it and the next update is around 45%

A bit more then one year ago. April-May 08.
Anyway, they now have 2 translators instead of one, it seems, so the speed should increase. I would say we can expect it for the next summer

Yeah. This isn't so much technical issues, as the massive script. We're talking about Xenosaga after all.

Having too many translators working on a project can cause problems with consistency in the script. If they care about the quality (which I think they do) they will not get too many more translators.

err how many do they have more, i think the best to work is about 3 or so maybe 4 but no more than that

I'd say have five or six translators. 3 or 4 to translate and 1 or 2 to grammar/spelling check.
