They don't show up at all, do they need the meta to be seen? I have a couple games that has no images but runs
They should be seen even without the images.
That's odd, I think I got one or two games in the same format you did and I got them working on Loadiine no problem, maybe try adding some dummy .tga files and test it out again.

I'll try but here's what's in the content and codes just in case

Hi all. I injected xtreme-g into the f-zero X N64 and works great... only a minor display issue at the bottom in the races... but everything runs okay... also it triggers the controller pack not found error at loading but meh....

thanks for this effort.. i played banjo kazooie, mario party 3 and smash bros with this method!

I ripped a DS VC game via DDD and replaced the file in rom.zip. What do I do next to make a file that Wup Installer can install?

Hopefully Ogre Battle (and soon Harvest Moon, which was bugged previously) will give us some other working injections in the process.

I really hope the last N64 VC releases do have some new ini files, or at least a couple of new ones.
I am still crossing my fingers for a Resident Evil 2 US/EUR INI. xD

Also, has it been confirmed whether or not if Harvest Moon 64 will be the last Virtual Console release for the Wii U?
If it is then we might as well just grab that vessel.rpx for future injections since it is most likely the most up-to-date one we'll get.

I doubt, there are more inis of unreleased games + that supposed 64dd support + transfer pak support (pkmn stadium) + missing big Rare games.

Things can change, they may have scrapped the plans to add 64dd support/transfer pak support when they decided to drop support for the wii u, and the rare games would probably be difficult to wrangle the permissions to release now that MS owns rare and EA own the 007 rights, the inis built in were probably just devs pitching the games seeking permission from the rights holders or simply devs playing about during development trying out various games without any intention of them ever being publicly released (especially with rare already releasing rare replay on the Xbox one)

And the emulators are obviously part of a bigger project of Nintendo developing their own emulators for all future consoles, so while we may not get any more new wiiu vc titles, development of the emulators will no doubt continue on the switch

I beg to differ.
The most logic reason why the devs left those INIs in the VC releases were most likely testing purposes from what I believe.
This might have been a way of the devs just trying out how much or how well the custom developed emulator for the N64 worked with certain parameters loaded up for particular games.

I doubt they planned on releasing all of the titles they made an INI for, even if they had legal issues or not.

I did say it could also have just been devs playing about during development (by "playing about" I meant, testing various different aspects to ensure maximum compatibility or debug specific issues)

It could also have been someone literally fancying a go of banjo kazooie and throwing it into their ini making tool

Yeah sorry I didn't catch that :P
But yeah, it does seem like that's what they went for.

I will cross my fingers for one last ini update. xD

I beg to differ even more when we even have inis being updated. They wouldn't be wasting their time doing that for non releases. Also Natsume said long ago HM64 wouldn't happen because of licensing issues, there were no inis... and there we have it.
All these games which got inis are slowly being released. Excite bike, mp2, ogre battle, snap, golf, tennis, kart, S&P, SF64 and others.

DDD does bad rips you will have an imcomplete metaxml that will fail to reincrypt sadly, to do custom injects do this grab the game from nus with something like wiiu usb helper or funkiuu, then decrypt it with cd decrypt, replace the rom.zip then change the xmls game ids so they dont overwrit your game when installing and then you need to use nuspacker to repack the game for wup installer using the wiiu comon key to encrypt.

yeah its a bit of trouble but i have like 30+ n64 injects installedw with their own ids and icons so they get their own save and such.

i just got ogre batle and added the title id and title key to that key site everyone knows, but i dumped and again a single ini on it, it seems that for every release after majoras mask and mario party 2 there are no more inis except the ones of the game itself sadly i saw this on the latest releases.
