Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

So for some reason, WiiFlow is not reading my wiiflow.ini file on r39 and up.
The 1.1 release is fine - it creates the wiiflow.ini when it is not there etc.
But on r39 and up, it does not create (if the file is not there) or read the ini.
I have all of the files on the FAT partition of my USB drive and the ini is in the /wiiflow directory (along with the themes folder, boxcovers folder, cache folder etc.)
If I move the wiiflow folder from the root of the USB to the root of the SD and change all of the paths accordingly, it reads the ini but does not save any informtion to it (current game, video settings and most importantly the IOS settings.)
If I run r25 for example, all is well - covers load fine, current game is saved and the program seems to read the ini fine (which is placed in usb:/wiiflow directory). If I update to r42, the theme does not load, none of the covers load and the program does not seem to read the ini (current game or modified settings are not saved).
Does anyone else have this problem?
Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hello

Is it safe to install the forwarder without preloader or bootmii installed on boot 2 ?
Is there an app to check wads integrity before installling them ?

Even if integrity of a wad has been tested , if power goes away while installing... Wad installation is Never 100% safe without
a way to recover the Nand like bootmii/boot2. Also almost no one have the same config, system menu and Ios versions, so i guess it could be very hard to code a software who will certifiate wad file compatibility even if the wad file is well-compiled.

The nfowarder from the official wiiflow page is working great for me, installed it to more than 10 wii's without any troubles.
But keep in mind that install and use of ANY homebrew content is always at your own risks.

Okay here is an odd question: Does someone have the ``wad`` of the latest release? mine is outdated...
(its the one from Hibernatus if I spell it right)

and when I try to download Wiiflow from the site it gives this thing:

r42_249.dol.ico what do I need to with this file before its a dol file?

the latest testing revs are able to use NTFS/FAT32 drives, you can get them from the gcode site

What's wrong? I am using a Seagate FreeAgent Go 320gb and use WBFS Manager 3.0 to put in games by the way.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Download R42 from Google code site http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow (use 249 version if your games are on WBFS drive)
And update Cios 249 to the latest rev (19)

Download R42 from Google code site http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow (use 249 version if your games are on WBFS drive)
And update Cios 249 to the latest rev (19)

and delete wiiflow.ini just to make sure

each game will have a trailer for each game if you want it , there is a new buttom in the themes now .. called
Trailers

you can watch the trailer of the game if you want ..

wiiflow NTFS is working very good with covers

the cover bug is still there ... its gettting worked on...

Sorry , guys, I dont know what Game Installation bug...you are talking about

everything is working good for me .. on NTFS.. all the games are playing and everything for me ..
covers are good on my sdcard..

I don't want to use discs. That's why I want to copy all of my original game discs into my harddisk.

tbh the NTFS bug is nothing to do with WiiFlow if you ask me, NTFS-3G write support has always been tempermental, and libntfs is only a port of that lib.
