There are posters in this very thread who constantly make attacks on things I hold dear and close to me and generally malign "my kind" whilst screaming of how tolerant and progressive they are. Isn't that ironic?

What is the solution? For me to leave this site? What does that saw about the environment then and the so called moderators in charge of keeping it civil? What about addressing the real issue?

Or are you more interested in shaping an echo chamber in line with your own way of thinking whilst ignoring the blatant attacks on a section of humanity who hold beliefs that differ from theirs?

Not gonna lie, you probably should get over it. Moderator decisions are final - if something doesn’t go your way, you’re welcome to add users you don’t like to your ignore list (like an impulsive child that cannot control their emotions and mental state - we have that facility if you need it) or just ignore them yourself and scroll past them (like a grown-up). Nobody is forcing you to engage with members whom you have disagreements with, nobody is restricting your right to speak your mind (so far as you speaking your mind falls within what is permissible on our website, as stated in the terms that *you agreed to* when joining, they’re ancient), you can do all of that and more. What we’re not going to do is tailor our site to whatever narrow interpretation of acceptable content you might have, and this is coming from arguably the most controversial, most conservative, Roman Catholic, white as the driven snow and straight as a flag pole mod on this site

Since you claim it isn’t obvious, I put it in mortal terms that you can understand. Everything I do is both divine and deliberate, dismissing it as a “slip” only shows your own limitations, imperfect being.
