A laptop durability depends much on what brand bought and how do you use it. also, all that games are already available on steam, and many "exclusive" android games are either boring or ports of other platforms. Yeah. I bought HP Pavilion G6. I just used net and word in it. Then I tried GOF 2 and it died. Lol. And I like tablet emulators. Kinda off-topic, but I'm currently thinking about buying a Windows tablet, one of the cheap Chinese models from eBay. Does anyone know if those have enough power to run visual novels? (I'd mostly use it for playing them)
I guess it depends on what constitutes "work" for you - some people need a little more oomph than that, even for work.If I have let's say $1000 and want something for both gaming and work, I'd spend $800 on a gaming PC and the rest on an APU driven laptop. I'm gonna use notepad or word anyway

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
