Can I modify the title archive inside the Haxchi or CBHC folder, with whatever text i want replacing Haxchi or Dont touch me respectively before installing both without any problems?

Not sure if I'm missing something, but Haxchi doesn't work as a CFW for me. As a homebrew launcher, it works perfectly fine. Am I supposed to let it launch fw.img? And I suppose I'm going to have to create an fw.img and not download it, correct? Would like to graduate from this into CBHC.

Look at sd:/haxchi/config.txt. That should tell you which button you have set to "sysmenu". Usually it's B. So you'd press B while Haxchi starts, and you'll see the WiiU Menu relaunch. When you get back to the menu, you'll have sigpatches active.

Is there any way to have the ds title you bought AND haxchi at the same time?
Boot with a flash drive connected instead of your regular USB drive, install the title to the flash drive with WUPInstaller, insert that drive as your USB drive when you want to play the game. (When you have two copies of the same titleID, the USB one runs.)

Or install another region's version of the title. (The different regions have different titleIDs, so there's no conflict. But you need to run Haxchi's sysmenu option before you can execute that - or any - out-of-region title.)

I don't know if he will be able to install to USB if he has cbhc already installed.
CBHC prevent installing the same title using WUP to prevent bricks, but I don't know if it checks the install path or just reject the same titleID.

You might have to uninstall CBHC first, install your game to USB, reinstall CBHC to NAND (disconnect HDD before installing to be sure you have flash drive with a full working game, and NAND with cbhc).

Under Haxchi 2.5u2, you can install the title to USB or sysNAND (but sysNAND naturally breaks Haxchi after a reboot). The title is protected from delete (even though it's not CBHC.)

That seems inconsistent with the comments on the commits for titleprot2 and titleprot. I'd have expected the installs to fail under both Haxchi/CBHC, and the delete to work under Haxchi, but I can't make enough sense of the register compares to understand why it's the other way around. @FIX94, can you clarify the behavior?

Doh! So I made my first impatient/tired error in modding history. I formatted on CBHC. Now I have an error code brick console.

I believe I did have a NAND backup, that was to say I created and sometimes used a Rednand/Mocha.. is there any way I can use this? Thanks!

Ah nuts, you and me both. Also formatted on CBHC as I was trying to format to unlink the Sys from the Red. I didn't see that formatting on CBHC is a hard stop, do not pass go. I made a redNAND SD card and have that. I imagine we should be able to flash that over with a hard mod?

I am actually unsure if I have it (lol!) Would it be part of the process of cloning Sys to Rednand (I did that so it ran off the SD to see if it would prevent freezing, it didnt) and I also messed with vWii but gave up as it wasnt really needed.

Yea I'm in the same boat. I have my redNAND SD card and had not messed with vWii yet. I'm going through the NAND tools post now to get caught up on the process currently being worked on.

Im using Haxchi v2.5u2 (latest) and i use DNS to block updates. Just wondering, can Nintendo see my firmware version 99.99.99 when im playing Mario Kart 8 online?
My guess is yes, if you don't have 5.5.1 you will not be able to play online. Can this be used against us for console bans or something?

Ok. So I recently installed the Zelda BOTW update like you would regularly through enabling Nintendo's network, because I was told by many that it was completely safe.
Still on 5.5.1 U firmware, blocked Nintendo's eshop and update sites as soon as it was done.

But now my Haxchi channel hangs at the WiiU loading screen and if I try to access homebrew through the internet I get the same thing!

What the hell happened and how can I get homebrew enabled again?

Also, what is the largest SD card size compatible because I was using a 64GB card which seemed to be working fine for Haxchi/Retroarch and also vWii but now its not working for Haxchi or loading homebrew through the internet browser.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
