@ Jalaneme spreading so much false information.
And for responding to questions which had already been solved with the same, if not worse, answers. :/

"use better media, throw out that horrible memorex, my DVDRs play fine i use verbatim high grade A media. or even better still play the file via divx and pop it on a memory card, problem solved!"
I'm sorry, but not everyone rips to files or pirates their DVD's, and some people actually prefer to buy them / rent them from the store.

"also no PS button, how are you going to quit the game?..."
By getting off your ass and pressing the power button.

"it doesn't matter about specs, it's all about your internet connection"
If it's in the same network, it has nothing to do with internet connection.

"so many misguided posts...."
Speak for yourself. :/

nah, it's better to use the ps button so i don't have to get up and press the power button on the ps3

yes it has, like i said before my pc is old and it streams videos and music fine, what do you know about pcs anyway?

Just so other's don't get confused by another useless response...
Internet speed has nothing to do with it if it's concerning streaming in the local network. It's all based on the router's data-transfer rate.

And thankyou for saying something correct jalaneme. I am very ungrateful. :] It's just a natural response to your unhelpful and misleading behaviour.

so tell me mr Einstein, what do you know so much about the ps3? do you own one? i know i do so i know what i am talking about.

LOL You must not know me, I used to be one of the biggest (if not the biggest) PS3 fanboy on this site, I've had one since December of 2007. My PSN is one of the first one on VVolt's thread..

He clearly knows more than you. Its not about the connection, I have a shitty 1 meg connection and stream all my movies, its all about your Router and/or signal strength. If you have a Wireless B router, it'll lag like crazy and stutter and shit, if you have a Wireless G or N, it'll be smooth as butter. And what the **** does your old computer have to do with the internet connection? Completely unrelated and irrelevant.

That is absolutely correct. LAN speeds are completely independent of Internet connection speeds.

I'm really sorry Jalaneme, I support the PS3 but I don't support ignorance
