That app uses IOS58, so I would guess that the app should work. Hold on a few minutes, I'll download it and try using it.It might not be the app. It could just be the vwii

It worked for me, although it says the report was generated on 7/12/2015. After the app loads just press the "A" button on the wiimote.
Maybe you just copied the boot.dol over to your SD card? Just guessing that maybe you didn't copy the meta file along with the boot.dol. Other than that I would say try a different SD card. An SD card and not a SDHC card if you have one. I used a 2GB sandisk SD card.I did that, after it says "All".

I saw your syscheck you posted and you dont have IOS249 or 250 installed, here is a link to the d2x cios installer that somebody else was having problems with and they couldn't get it to work, maybe you can.

I made sure to avoid that. I am using only a 2GB sd card. I am copying the app folder, in the rar file, to the SD card. I made sure that there are no other apps in the folder.

This one did not work either. I got the same error message that i posted earlier
His IOS57 and IOS36 are wii IOS as well.I was looking at your syscheck report and it looks like you have a different IOS56 installed than I do. I don't know if you installed a Wii IOS56 or just have an older vWii IOS56. If you do have a Wii IOS56 installed then maybe you have other Wii stuff installed to your vWii, this can be causing you problems.
Well, at least IOS58 looks like it is still good, and should be able to get it repaired easily. It's weird though that he cannot get the newer syscheck to work. His IOS57 and IOS36 are wii IOS as well.

That makes sense. When I first hacked the vWii, a couple years ago, I made sure to use only vWii apps. My guess is to your error is that you have an incorrect IOS56 installed to your vWii. This vWii d2x cIOS installer works different that the one for the Wii, it will extract the vWii IOS56 and install a cIOS for you, but the installer is detecting a wrong IOS56, that is why you get an error. Do you remember all the Wii stuff you installed to your vWii?
You're going to need vWii.wad files of all the Wii IOS you installed. You are going to need a way to install the vWii.wad files. First thing I would do is to determine what all needs to be replaced. Make double sure of what you are installing because you can brick by installing wrong item. Don't mess with IOS80 cause that's your system menu IOS. You can probably find more than one thread here where members had to do this, use the search bar, good luck. That makes sense. When I first hacked the vWii, a couple years ago, I made sure to use only vWii apps. When I went back, recently, I didn't.
If that is the case, how do I fix this?

You can compare the syscheck I posted with the one you posted and look at the IOS revision number of each IOS. Like the other member mentioned you had an IOS36 and IOS57 that was incorrect, and I noticed IOS56 was incorrect. My Wii U is updated to the latest system menu so all my vWii IOS should be correct if you want to use that as a reference. And how do I determine what I need to replace?

Are you able to load any homebrew that uses IOS58, if so you should be able to use some sort of wad installer to install vWii IOS. I don't know where to get vWii IOS wad files, maybe some nice person will read this and let you know.
Don't worry about that IOS512 and 513, the older syscheck you used doesnt detect those IOS and you probably have them installed.
Yes, I able to run Nintendont off IOS58. I will look for some vWii wads, but Im not sure what app will work to install them. I have tried a few and none of them work. Is there a way to change what IOS the wad manager uses?
i Notices the three IOS's (36, 56, 57) were mismatched. So I need to replace those. I also noticed that I do not have the 249 or 250 either. I also noticed that I do not have 236 installed. I will install them as well.
One other thing that stood out to me is that I have 247 and 248 that you do not. Will that be an issue?

I started the thread, thanks for all of your help!IOS236, 249, and 250 are cIOS that are installed with installers, which should work once you get your vWii IOS problem fixed. Look back at the beginning of this thread and somebody posted a link of do's and don't for the vWii, there you should be able to find some help with wat apps to use to maybe fix your problem. I know there is a few wad managers out there for vWii that use IOS58 so you don't need aa cIOS inistalled to run them.

Maybe making a new thread in the Wii U / Hacking section and label it something like "Installed Wii IOS to vWii, please help" would bring you better help. I don't think the title of this thread is helping.
